Dec 17 2012 Big E Langston became the 2nd NXT Champion

Big E Langston became the 2nd NXT Champion after a thrilling victory over Seth Rollins on December 6th at the latest installment of NXT Television tapings at Full Sail Live in Winter Park, Florida.

Langston overcame great odds, fending off the fierce attack of Rollins’ Shield counterparts Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, to pull off the biggest win of his career.

The “Master of the Five Count” utilized his unparalleled strength to counter the best offense Rollins had to dish out, ultimately scooping up the former champion out of the mid air to deliver a thunderous “Big Ending” for the three count to the deafening cheers of the crowd.

Following the historic match, NXT General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer The American Dream Dusty Rhodes and WWE Superstar & Chief Operating Officer Triple H walked out to the ramp to endorse the newly crowned champion.

Sept 10 2012 The American Dream Dusty Rhodes to Appear in Ft. Pierce

WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes and his son WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes will both be appearing at the NXT Live! Event on September 14th. These two huge stars, one a veritable WWE Legend, and one a fast-rising name soon to match his father in fame and success, will be available for photos and autographs. Ft. Pierce has never before seen this type of star power – this event is not to be missed!

The star studded show is headlined by a highly anticipated match-up between WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes and NXT Champion Seth Rollins. Both stars have exchanged controversial comments via social media outlets-Twitter and Tout.  The controversial remarks escalated when Rhodes challenged Rollins to the match which Rollins accepted via a video posted on Tout. As if the match-up wasn’t exciting enough, Ft. Pierce fans will get to meet Cody and his father “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes before the event for autographs and photo opportunities.

“The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes’ resume would be impossible to list here; it encompasses a lifetime of championship gold, legendary matches and magical moments. He captured every title he could have won, including the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and did it all while being one of the – if not the single – most entertaining and memorable superstars of all time. His son Cody is still on the rise and has already carried the WWE Tag Team, World Tag Team, and Intercontinental Championships (each multiple times). For such a young superstar, those achievements are astounding. Cody still has many years left in the ring…and he will surely add many more titles and accomplishments to that list.

These two gigantic Superstars aren’t the only attractions at the NXT Live! Event. There will also be eight matches, including a Divas action. The NXT roster is made-up of countless national and international Superstars, including the son of award-winning actor/singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson, Garret Dylan. With huge stars and surprise guests like “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes and WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes—this event is absolutely the best value in entertainment today.

WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes and the Superstars of NXT make their way to Ft. Pierce Friday September 14th. Bell time is at 7:30, with doors opening at 6:30 for photos and autographs. The Fort Pierce Fenn Center is located at 2000 Virginia Ave, Ft. Pierce, FL 34928. Tickets start at just $10 for kids and $20 for adults.

July 26, 2012 The first NXT Champion was crowned on July 26, 2012, as Seth Rollins scored the biggest victory of his career, defeating Jinder Mahal in the "Gold Rush" tournament finals in front of a capacity crowd at Full Sail Live in Winter Park, Florida.

Rollins picked up the win in a heated battle after a thunderous curbstomp. NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the American Dream Dusty Rhodes raised Rollins' hand as the victor post-match and in a thrilling moment for Seth and the fans in attendance, WWE Superstar and Chief Operating Officer HHH endorsed both the new champion and the NXT brand by strapping the title around Rollins' waist.
