Dean Ambrose marches to the beat of his own drum. Fearless, wild and always unpredictable, Ambrose is a world-class competitor and an infamous trouble-maker on the side. Prior to becoming one of the Shield's most boisterous members, Ambrose made a habit of causing chaos simply because he could.
During his time in the WWE Developmental system, Ambrose would blindside William Regal with an unprovoked attack. When asked why, Dean's reasoning was simple: “Just to see what would happen, I get bored. When there's a hornet's nest buzzing, I’ve got to poke it. I like disorder, I like danger, I live life to feel alive." Regal and Ambrose would meet in the ring in a vicious and brutal fight. Ambrose absorbed an incredible amount of punishment, wrestling much of the match with a dislocated shoulder. Regal came out on top, but Ambrose pulled himself up and smiled, asking for more. The scene was typical Dean Ambrose, disturbing and awe- inspiring. Since that time, Ambrose has continually sought out new opportunities to shake up the system while creating an aura of fear around hm.
Ambrose's aura was so great that officials barred the Cincinnati scrapper from competing on NXT once the television show was relocated to Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. Needless to say, the blockage would only serve as a temporary obstacle as Ambrose would join forces with former NXT Superstars Seth Rollins and Roman Regns to form the Shield and wreak havoc on the WWE.
Dean Ambrose appears focused and has caused even more trouble in 2013. When asked what we can expect in Dean Ambrose's future he simply replied, “I’m taking over the universe."
