Two words to describe Antonio Cesaro? Very European! The Swiss born Superstar is very proud of his roots and is not shy to tell the WWE Universe all about it any chance he gets. Born and raised in Lucerne, Switzerland, the multilingual Antonio believes that European, especially Swiss people, are superior to their American counterparts. Competing and excelling in many sports before starting to wrestle, he says none of them were rough enough to hold his attention for long.

Learning his craft all over Europe before Cesaro moved to America in 2004 after hitting the Jackpot and winning the Green Card Lottery, Antonio fine-tuned his skills in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Japan. European Uppercuting his way through worldwide competition made Antonio Cesaro become as versatile as a Swiss Army Knife and a force to be reckoned with for any WWE Superstar. The rugged Cesaro was also in the Swiss Army, a fact that he is very proud of, but insists that he is not allowed to disclose details about his military training.

Since competing at FCW, he proclaims there is nobody there that can match his skills and that he has proven himself enough to move on to the WWE. Setting his eyes first on the United States Championship, Antonio has vowed to become US Champion to prove his claim of superiority and then bring back the, in his eyes, more prestigious European Championship.
